Hello fae fans, and let me start with an apology. I hadn’t realised it had been so long since I’d made a post here, and Serendipity is not amused. Slapped my wrist, and I’m now doing what I should have done months ago. Writing a post!
Serendipity's wand
Firstly, let me start by announcing a new contest! I’ve been playing with my jewellery findings, and this fae wand appeared in my hand… I think Serendipity had something to do with this one, so all credit to her ;o) She’s quite creative at times, and this is her little thank you to all faes and humans who like her pieces.
This is approx 2 inches in length, from the top of the bail to the tip of the wand. Very fragile, it’s probably not suitable for children. If you like this, just leave a message/reply to this post, and it could be yours! Depending on people’s opinions, Serendipity may make more.

Other things have been happening at the Glen too. New pieces added to the Misi store, like the piece to the left.
A few new pieces still to be added, hopefully to my personal site which has also been sorrowfully abandoned for a wee while. I’m on ‘holiday’ from my part time job this week, so I hope to get some things organised ~ but probably not all. lol. I will try though. Keep your fingers crossed.
I think that’s all for now, but I will try to post a little more often. I’ll try. ;o)

I would love to have the wand. Every year at our big, week- long kite festival at Long Beach, Washington, I am in charge of 1 day of Kids’ Events, including giving ribbons for campsites actually designed and set up by kids and also of our Foster Grandparent fun fly where, last year, experienced kite folk took about 250 kids by the hand and led them out to the kite field to teach them how to fly kites properly. Each of the kids got to take their new kite home! I started these activities because, although the day had long been designated as kids’ day, my daughter and grandkids had visited one year and complained that there really was nothing much for the kids to see or do on that day. Let me tell you, that has changed now! This will be our 8th year!
Then, on Fridays, I play “Fairy Godmother” to the kids–wandering around the beach in one of my several fairy costumes and giving out freebies to the kids. One year it was Harry Potter wands that had been donated by a local merchant. The next year it was rubber duckies. I have great fun and the kids love it.
Bottom line, I really, really, really need a wand to wear with my Fairy Godmother costume!!!

What you do sounds amazing! The kids are very lucky to have people like you (and the others) around to have fun with and be there for them… I bet they have a blast!
Good luck with the competition! If you don’t win this one, you can always order one if you like… There’s only one wand at the moment for the competition, but I have the bits to make more if required. I’m waiting to see how much of a reaction I get to this one.

Oh, that is wonderful, I love it! If by chance I do not win, I hope my friend Glenda Kleppin does! She is an amazing woman! She introduced me to kite flying this spring, and sent me home with 3 wonderful Kites! She is a goddess in her own right!
P.S….(Does the wand have magical powers? I could use some magic in my life right now!)

I love the fairy wand, it’s so beautiful, I hope you can coax Serendipity to make more.
I also love bees and hares – hares are very popular with pagans. But my favourite animal is the wolf – not sure how fairies feel about that, but I’d be interested in any wolf related pretties!

I would love to have this for my own little fae, Morgan, who is 6. She loves fairies as much as I do and this would be her first piece in her collection.
She has admired my fairies since she was a baby and has always handled them gently and lovingly. I would love to start a collection for her and I know this piece would be the perfect for her.
